  I had dinner at this restaurant last night, April 1, 2017.
  
  Pros:
  The food was better than the usual buffet, as far as taste is concerned. And, the wait staff are courteous and attentive. The soup was limited to only one, and that was chicken and sausage gumbo. It was very good. It was slightly thick (like I like mine) and had okra in it, which added a great, fresh flavor. The fried shrimp were larger than the usual, thin, pressed-flat and heavily breaded fried shrimp one usually sees at a buffet. These were plumb, thinly breaded and fried nicely. This allowed the flavor of the shrimp to come through, as opposed to a heavy breaded taste.
  The catfish was good as well and, was the only item I saw that was offered two ways, fried and grilled. The honey/sesame chicken bits were MUCH better than the usual honey/chicken nuggets you find at most buffets. The chicken was flavored with a very, lightly sweetened sauce, much less heavy than the usual sauce one gets at a buffet.
  
  Cons:
  Not all dishes were restocked quickly. The fried rice was gone when I arrived and never was refilled prior to my departure, about 45 minutes later.
  Their more "down-home" meals offered on the buffet were marginal at best. The spaghetti was overlcooked with a slight, rubbery texture. The meatballs may or may not have been made iin-house. But regardless , their taste was very subpar. It was obvious that no real love went into making these meatballs.
  The roast beef was hit and miss. Some pieces were lean and tender, others were fatty and tough. The mashed potatoes were very starchy, dry and thick. Even the juice from the roast beef offered little improvement to their taste.
  The dessert offerings are the usual fair of boxed, layered cake you find at most Chinese buffets. It is not tasty. However, they did offer a good peach cobbler. And, there was some fruit available as well.
  
  In summary: If you are looking for a no-thrills, better than average buffet, this restaurant should met your needs. Just be aware that the food is hit and miss on the buffet and there is no ambience to the place at all. Inside is basically a lot of tables and a buffet table.
  
  Note: I ordered nothing off the menu. I stuck strictly to the buffet. On my next trip, I'll order off the menu as I've read several very positive reviews regarding their steaks.
